· The Folio

Your wealth, bound as a folio.

Not a login. Not a dashboard. A single, continuous document — positions, decisions, plan, and governance, composed into something you could hand to your heirs and they would understand.

· What a folio is

"A folio is what's left when you strip away the software and keep only the record."

A folio is the deliverable of the relationship — the artifact in which everything we do for you is assembled and kept legible. Your statements show the dollars. Your plan shows the intent. Your ledger shows the decisions. The folio is where all of it lives as one bound work, cross-linked so that every dollar traces to the decision behind it and every decision to the plan it serves.

Where most firms hand you a portal and call the data a relationship, we compose a document. It reads like a private bank's annual letter, not a brokerage app — because the point is comprehension, not engagement metrics.

It is bound annually, versioned, and signed. Last year's folio doesn't disappear when this year's is produced — it stays on the shelf, part of a record that lengthens for as long as we work together.

· A spread, from a sample binding

The artifact, open.

Chapter I is a letter; Chapter II is the proof. Every spread reads this way — prose on one page, the reconciled record on the facing one.

THE CALLAHAN FOLIO · VOL. VCH. I · THE LETTER
Dear Rudy,

This year the plan moved twice — once when the market fell in March, and once when you decided the cabin mattered more than the earlier retirement date. Both decisions are in Chapter IV, with our reasoning attached and the trade-off stated in plain numbers.

Nothing in this binding should surprise you; you were in the room for all of it. What follows is simply the record — kept the way we said it would be kept.

· The structure

Eleven chapters.

Every folio follows the same spine — so you always know where to look, and so does anyone who reads it after you. Pull a volume from the shelf.

The Letter

· Chapter I · Signed by a named person

Addressed to you, signed by a named person — the year in plain English. What happened, what it means, and what comes next, written to be read rather than filed.

· bound annually · versioned · signed · · last year's volume stays on the shelf ·
· How it's made

Composed, not compiled.

A folio isn't exported from a template at quarter-end. It's composed in BAFAos — the firm's system of record — where live custodial data, the decision ledger, the planning engine, and the governance files are pulled into one document and reconciled before a human ever signs it.

Every figure carries its provenance. Every chapter knows where its numbers came from. The composer's job isn't to type the folio — it's to review what the system assembled and put a name to it.
