· About the firm

A firm built to be examined.

Most advisers ask you to trust them. We'd rather you check. Every dollar, every material decision, every drift — on the record, in plain English, designed so the receipts stay attached.

· Why we exist
· The standard ·

Build the firm so an SEC examiner, a skeptical heir, or you at 2 a.m. would find the same complete record.

Intellicapital was founded in 2021 by an adviser who spent two decades inside a large institution watching the same quiet failure repeat: clients who couldn't actually see what was being done with their money. Not because anyone was hiding it — because the industry was never built to show it. Statements arrived quarterly, decisions went unrecorded, and the reasoning behind a recommendation lived in someone's head until that person left.

We started from the opposite premise. If a fiduciary owes you undivided loyalty, then the proof of that loyalty should be standing, legible, and yours — not reconstructed under examination, but kept that way from the first day. We call it the exam-binder standard.

That ethic shapes everything downstream — how we charge, how we decide, how we write to you, and the system we built to hold it all. We are a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser. We take no commissions, sell no products, and accept no compensation from anyone but the households we serve.

The opposite of a black box is not a dashboard. It's a binder.

— The exam-binder standard —
· What that means in practice

Three commitments, kept on the record.

Fee-only

No hidden incentives.

The firm is paid only by clients. Investment-management fees are asset-based and tiered; separate planning engagements may carry the fixed fees disclosed on the Pricing page and in Form ADV. We receive no commissions, product compensation, or third-party payments.

On the record

Material decisions, recorded.

Each material advisory decision is recorded with its rationale and reviewed by a supervised person. The scope and operating status of the firm’s record controls are described in the Claims Register.

Fiduciary

Loyalty, undivided.

We act in your interest, full stop — the legal standard and the daily one. Conflicts are disclosed before they’re encountered, not buried in a footnote after.

Sep 2021

The firm is filed.

Intellicapital Advisors, LLC is organized in Florida — the founding adviser leaves a twenty-year institutional career to build the firm he’d been describing for years.

Nov 2021

Registration approved.

The state approves the firm’s investment-adviser registration — CRD #316908 enters the public record — and the compliance program stands up from day one: the exam-binder standard, in place before the first client.

2022 – 2025

The system is built.

BAFAos — the operating system of record behind every folio, ledger entry, and statement — is developed and refined against real households and real examinations: one model of the household, a dated registry of versioned planning rules applied when relevant, and a record designed to keep the evidence behind recommendations where an examiner can find it.

Today

One standard, every household.

A deliberately small book, three people, and a discipline that doesn’t bend with account size: every client gets the binder — written for their household alone.

· Who you'll work with

Three people. No layers.

The people who decide your plan are the people you'll talk to — and the people whose names are on the record.
