You won't be handed off. The people who decide your plan are the people you'll talk to — and the people whose names are on the record.
Michael founded Intellicapital in 2021 after two decades in financial planning, most recently as a Vice President and Financial Planning Consultant at Fidelity Investments in Jacksonville, Florida, from 2001 to 2021. He left to build the firm he'd been describing for years — one where the proof of fiduciary loyalty is kept standing, not reconstructed under examination.
He carries the firm's dual responsibility: leading the practice as Managing Partner and owning its compliance record as Chief Compliance Officer. He also designed and wrote BAFAos — the firm's operating system of record — himself. Every material decision the firm makes ultimately answers to the standard he set on day one.
Rob is the firm's other licensed adviser and a Managing Partner. He carries household relationships and the investment discipline behind every folio — translating each family's plan of record into a portfolio that serves it, and keeping that portfolio honest between reviews.
Where Michael holds the firm's compliance conscience, Rob holds its investment conviction: the belief that a portfolio is a set of decisions, each one owed a reason and a signature.
Karin is the connective tissue of the firm — coordinating the planning work and keeping each household's record moving between you, your documents, and the advisers. When a beneficiary form needs refreshing or a folio needs assembling, she's the reason nothing falls through the gap.
She does not provide investment advice; her work is coordination and care — and it's the quiet reason the standard holds at the level of detail where most firms let it slip.
A deliberately small firm isn't a stage we're trying to grow out of — it's the design. Three people can hold every household to the same standard because no household is ever more than one conversation from the person actually deciding.
